Define the outcome you want
Write down the subject you want to study, skills you want to develop, and type of work or research you hope to pursue. Then compare the actual modules and assessments of each programme. A familiar course title can hide very different content.
Compare a small shortlist
| Question | What to check |
|---|---|
| Does the course fit? | Compulsory modules, electives, projects, and learning outcomes. |
| Can I apply? | Academic prerequisites, language evidence, and relevant experience. |
| Can I afford it? | Whole-course tuition, city costs, and confirmed funding. |
| How will I learn? | Teaching format, assessment, research supervision, and facilities. |
| What happens next? | Accreditation where relevant, graduate support, and your own career plan. |
Ask questions before paying
Contact the university through an official address if an entry requirement is unclear. Ask about deadlines, deposits, refund terms, and whether a scholarship requires a separate application. Save the answer with your application notes.
Continue your research
Check the destination and provider’s official instructions for your own course.
